In today’s intricate legal environment students need an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the law, how it evolved and how it is applied in Ireland. To that end our Honours Degree programme has received the participation and support of a wide range of specialists from the legal profession, as well as our own full-time and consulting lecturing staff. This contribution has allowed us to develop a truly excellent programme.
This degree includes many of the core modules that make up the syllabus of the legal professional bodies in Ireland, namely The Law Society of Ireland and The Honorable Society of King’s Inns. The degree also offers modules in Legal Writing, Research and Communications and Intellectual Property Law. These modules ensure that you will have a distinct advantage over other students pursuing more traditional Law degrees, as you will have a broader outlook and better understanding of a client’s business. This will enhance your career prospects significantly.
