Food science, food quality and food safety play central roles in our daily lives. The MSc degree in Food Science provides students with the opportunity to study issues concerning the manufacturing, development and molecular aspects of food.

The programme consists of compulsory and elective courses and a thesis. Students may choose to specialise in areas such as Dairy Science and technology, Meat science and technology, Biotechnology or Food Safety.

There are many career opportunities in the food industry, where graduates may work with product development, quality management, and company management.
