This MSc programme provides students with a thorough understanding of the economic aspects of environmental policy and the problems associated with the use of natural resources. During the programme, the student becomes familiar with environmental project evaluation and issues such as how to use economic instruments to control pollution problems and how to optimise the extraction of natural resources over time.Through elective courses students have the chance to sharpen their professional profile and specialise in economics, health economics, biology or law and administration. A cooperation scheme between universities in the Copenhagen area offers students the possibility to take courses at several universities in the Copenhagen area.Jobs typically focus on environmental and natural resource economic analyses, project assessment, management and development assignments.
